Today daddy made it a point to spend time with his girls. Not only did we all go out early in the morning, we manage to do alot in one day.

We even went to the new Ikea Tampines! There was this huge play area for kids and we signed Clié in for it. I wanted to tell Clié to make friends when she gets in there, but before i could reach her, she already went deep in. We saw her standing in the crowd of kids. She observed the kids, the thing they were doing and then after a while she decided to try the pool of balls. But i think it was not fun without friends that she know, so she ended up colouring most of the time. Artist vs Social… I think she picked art. hee…

A typical pose on a typical bus on a typical journey on this wonderful day. I love such days where i can blank out the things i need to do, but just focus on being with my girls.

Clié loves her tiara and she wears it every where. To her its a little thing that makes her feel more like a princess… If only she knew how much she means to us, her parents and what a real princess she is in our eyes.

Clié gets a new bike and she simply loves it. Cleo is too short to reach the padels when she sits on the seat, so being a passenger is fun as well.

Its nice to see the 2 girls enjoying each other’s company. l’m glad we did not only have one kid, we would not know what we are missing.

The girls loves all things princess, even now daddy can name the princesses. Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Ariel (the Little Mermaid), Jasmine (Aladdin), Snow White (and the even dwarfs)…

Clie’s fav is Aurora and i think the main reason is because of her pink dress. Cleo’s fav however is Belle and its because of the wonderful songs in the movie.

We downloaded the pictures graphics off Disney’s Princess website, printed them on paper, glued them to cards and cut them out. Did a little base & slotted them together.

So the Princesses had to have a place to live, so we drew a land with a castle, a few houses, a few ponds, many trees and it was fun. Of cause there was the occasional abstract scribbles from Cleo.

The girls loved it.

Daddy had fun too.

I’m glad Clié have interest in all things art. From colouring, painting, dancing, to almost any form of art and craft. Maybe she is just a kid and anything will be interesting? I don’t know, but i do hope that she will do good in art in her life. Then its really my job to make sure she is given the opportunity and neccessary support.

Although she is still not very disciplined with her colouring (as the colours do go out of the line), but i think it does not matter and i’m actually glad that she have a mind of her own and wants to do it her way. But kids being kids, their attention span is as long as the next distraction.

The girls play with each other well and i hope this sisterhood will blossom. I really thank God for my Girls, they are indeed miracles.

Terminal 2′s renovations are completed and its time to bring the kids to the airport and see whats new.

The kids always loved to go to the airport. They have never sat on a plane before and i wonder when will it be their first time.

Clié loves her sister alot and many times i can see her protecting her little sister. Althought she still snatch stuff from Cleo, but with some explanation, she usually will do the right thing.

Clié is really growing up fast and i’m having some difficulties trying to catch up with her. She is able to draw a smiling face, she can draw the sun and her colouring skills are getting better by the day. She can remember music pretty well and its nice to see her humming along to familiar tunes.

I seriously need to spend more time with Clié and do memoriable stuff with her. She is only 3 for 1 year in her life and i don’t want to miss it.

Being the school holidays, we brought the kids to Downtown East and stayed over at Costa Sands Resort.

We definately brought them to Wild Wild Wet which they did enjoy, but Clieé is still afriad of the slides. She always have this daring front, but she is actually a low risk taker. I managed to slide her down the pink straight slide by herslef and she cried, complained to mommy that i pushed her… oh man… Clié you got to be more daring! and most importantly trust daddy. Ok we will try again some other time.

We had mini BBQ, just our little family. And as the mid autumn festival i round the corner, we lighted up candles and kids being kids, they were fascinated with fire. Clié played the candles our our supervision.

In this trip, é tried the magic dust popping candy and it was a new yet weird experience. She did not really like it that much and daddy ended up having it.

Clié have been very difficult to handle of late. She wants things NOW, she wants it HER WAY, i know she just wants more attention and just wants us to do more stuff with her. She is growing and growing fast. We need to be there for her. I’m looking forward for the next outing i’m planning to have with only her. Maybe we’ll go ice skating as she have been seeing Princess Annika skating gracefully in the DVD.

Mommy know Clié love dresses, hence bought her yet another dress. I think its quite nice and at least its not tacky.

Clié my dear princess, may you always be beautiful and happy.

Clié is into everything princess. Lately mommy got her this dress, she love it so much that she wares it at home regularly.

My girl is growing up fast. Now the thoughts she have are more complex, the needs, wants and emotions are running high these days. Life is so amazing God is so wonderful. Thanks Gof for kids.

Its the June School break and Clié stays at home almost every weekday, hence she really look forward to wekends where we will bring her out. We go Sentosa, Shopping Malls, Grandparents, etc…

I especially like to bring the kids to malls where there are wide open spaces. Places where its not too crowded and filled with interesting stuff for them to explore.

The girls are growing up fast and well and its amazing how time passes so quickly. This period of them wanting us and trusting us totally is really amazing. If there is anybody in the world that they would like to be with, its with us. That just blows my mind at times.
