Daddy have been working alot in June and barely had time to spend with Clié and Cleo, but at the last day of the school vacation, Daddy took leave even when he was very busy to bring the girls out.
The day started with a Mac Breakfast at East Coast. There were pancakes, cold milo and a playground just next to our table.
After the nice morning meal, it was to the skate rink just nearby.

Clié have been practicing alot at the void deck and this time round its time to skate in a real skate rink with other people skating as well. Thank God there were other kids there as well, so Clié did not feel that shy like the last visit. This time round she skated, skated and skated.
For a kid her age, i think she skates well. only 1 fall the whole day. Good job.
After the skate session, it was off to Courts Tampines to play computer games and be entertained electronically. Clié and Cleo both had fun.
Then it was packed lunched back home where art and craft took place. A bit of an afternoon rest and it was time to shower, get changed and to pick mommy up for dinner.

Clié wanted pizza, but Pizza Hut at Plaza Sing was so full that the waitress actually recommended us to go Pastamania instead and we did. By dinner time Clié was super tired, you can see from her face that she had an excellent day and it was time to say good night.
Good night Clié my darling… may you have beautiful dreams…

Clié loves the beach. She loves the sand, the water, the sea shells, the day with her parents. This trip to Sentosa she managed to walk into the water all by herself. She used to be afraid when the water crashes into the sand, but this time round she is walking in and out of the water all by herself. I’m proud of her.
I look forward for the day that i can bring the kids to a nicer a beach… a real beach… a shallow beach with crystal clear water and snow white sand. They can walk out, play, sit on the water… It will be fun… i hope it can be soon…

Clié has a fragile heart, she gets hurt easily and feels sad at the slightest uncomfortable thing said in her direction. When we scold her, she cries… when she feels guilty, she cries… when we exclude her, she cries…

My girl, my dear girl, you have to be stronger. You have to be more independent, you need to have the strong character that your mommy has… don’t follow your daddy’s emo character…

Clié have been telling us about the Fun Fair nearby and she said her friends told her its only opened at night. So since she is so excited about it, we went to the fun fair… Actually i don’t remember going to such a fun fair in the past at all, this might be a good and nice experience.

We did the roller coaster. At first Clié was a bit fearful, but she hung on to me tight and when we went down quickly, i can feel her tight grip on me as if to say “Daddy my life is in your hands and i trust you…”

Pearl brought Cleo to the merry-go-round instead. She loves horses & this one is so much bigger than those you can find in malls, she had to try it.

We did the Farris Wheel and it was slow and steady. Its quite high actually and romantic in some sense. Too bad my wife is not on it, cuz ITS DARN EXPENSIVE. Anyway… the kids had a fun night.

Today its daddy and Clié day. We went to East Coast and rented a bike. We cycled almost the whole stretch of East Coast.

We first headed east and ended up at Bedok Jetty. It was a long ride but Clié enjoyed it. The last time when we did something similar like that was when she was much smaller and i pushed her on a pram while i’m on skates. It was fun then, its fun now too.
We then turned back and headed for Fort Rd, so in total we cycled for almost 2 hours. At the last part when we were going back to the bike rental shop, Clié was already falling asleep. lol…

I really wanted to spend quality time with Clié for a long time already and we finally did. I loved that day.

My wife snipped off Clié’s fringe today. I’ve always felt that my little girl would be irritate with her long since-birth-never-cut-fringe, but she kinda got used to it. Now Pearl wanted it off, but she did not know i’ve changed my mind & i actually would like Clié to keep her fringe. Its like her branding.
Now what’s done is done and her face is now more visible and bright. I think it looks ok. Now Clié got herself a fringe and she looks absolutely different. Anyway… its a nice change.

Today is sentosa day for thepans and prata was on the agenda for breakfast. Daddy was super busy for the whole of Jan 07 and realised that I did not even take one picture of Clié at all. So these pictures of my beautiful girl was taken in early Feb.
As Clié can’t smile properly infront of the camera, this picture was taken with the specific instruction for her not to smile. Looks like she is not happy, but she is not… she is just not smiling.

Even during breakfast, my girly girl looks very girlish. Her fringe was never cut since birth, hence its as long as the rest of her hair. Its quite troublesome during meal times as it always gets in her face, but when we try to tie it up for her, she refuses… it breaks her branding… her long un-tied hair is the look she wants. vain… very vain…

Happy 4th Birthday Clié!! This year aunt Silver bought her a present and it was a set of traditional Myanmar clothes and i have to say i was quite suprised and happy for the gesture. Its quite nice actually.

Bring very into all things Princess, she initially wanted a Princess cake, but as the cake shop ran out of what she wanted, she settled of a Hello Kitty cake instead. She was quite cool with it. I can sense she would be sad if she did not get any cake at all.
Her birthday is a big thing to her now and she have been mentioning that her birhtday is approaching in 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 week, a few days, tommorow… even yesterday when it has passed.

We did not do anything major this year, but invited a few of her friends from church.

And guess what daddy bought her princess? A pink pair of skates ($16.80 from Giant) with pink guards ($14.30 from Giant also). It rocks. She definately loves it. I wonder when will she ask me for her first pair of aggressive skates.
I promised Clié that i’ll bring her ice skating for her 4th birthday and we went. She was abit scared at the start, but slowly she gained her confidence and started skating on her own.

My Ice Skating Princess

Slow and steady…

A wonderful day with my wonderful girl. I’m so proud of her.
